David Eady
Director of Industry Engagement
David is the director of industry engagement for the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business. He organized and now leads the Drawdown Georgia Business Compact, composed of 60 companies (and growing!) from across the state and in different industry sectors. The Compact aims to leverage the leadership of the business community in Georgia to move the needle on decarbonization. In partnership with faculty and researchers at Georgia Tech and other universities, as well as nonprofit organizations, the Compact looks for collaborative ways to deploy climate solutions at scale.
David enjoys building a community of sustainability practitioners and researchers working together on a sustainable and just transition that not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also elevates equity, increases inclusive economic opportunity, protects and restores vital ecosystems, and creates places where all can flourish.
